Publication workflow
The Content Editor is modifying content in a special 'draft" version of the website, not visible to external "online" users. Changes can be published online through a one- (publish) or two-steps (submit and approve) workflow.
The content editor can choose a specific date and time for the publication.

SiteNOTE keeps track of pages when they are published. The Content Editor is able to revert back to a page previously published at any time.
Compare
Before publishing pages, Content Editors can use a textual compare tool that shows the differences between the "draft" version of the page and the "online" version of the page.
